You don't need firewood to light the match to fire up the dynamite and get to the dog with the keys. There's a lamp burning in that scene.

Grab the chunk of watermelon off the ground. hold it near the hive til the bees are attracted and SLOWLY, VERY slowly, lead them back down to the ground. Then you have free access to the hive.

Did anyone have trouble finding the dinosaur eggs in the Old Goat Cave? They must be under the broken one??

I cannot find the dinosaur egg either and it is keeping me from continuing with the game :-( If it's under the broken one how do you remove the broken one? I have the spear but nothing happens if I use the spear on the broken egg ... do I need something else to move it?

to get the egg, use the spearhead and dig in the dirt. a hand will appear when you are moving the cursor around.

where do I find the string for the guitar?

The string for the guitar is around the sea man's neck, it's actually called horse hair, click on it then click the guitar.
About that egg!!!! It had me stalled for 2 days. You have to use the spear and start in bottom left corner, hover then left click. A hole will be dug, but no egg. Do it again to the right of dead dinosaur. It'll really make you mad. But there's the egg.

I give up to get rid of the bees, I have tried so many times without any luck.

Barely started and already stuck. I'm in the treasure room and need to get the flute. I think it's in the chest in the closet but need to get a key to open the chest. Where do I find another key? (already found one and opened the other chest, but that key is gone)

Never mind.......I found the flute. It was on top of the chest not in it (what a dummy I am).
