LOL, thanks to the socks I figured out where to put the fishing dock.

If you have trouble like I did, here's my hint: the fishing dock goes on the beach near where you start the game. Where you have the banana tree and the first lumber pile. Just keep moving the dock around until it turns green and you'll get it.
