I am having an impossible time with the Woods2 level. I have tried dozens of hints. HEEEEEEELP!

I play this game so often I bought it and have it one my desk top. Woods level 2 is probably one of the most challenging. I place 3 cannons at the spot where the monsters come in through the gate. Two on the bottom half of the lane then one on the top. Next to the one on the top I place a bubble gum machine and another bubble gum machine directly across from that one on the bottom half of the lane. Remember, anything that you put on the bottom half of the first lane also fires on the monsters as they are about the turn the corner towards your village. So those are the weapons I build up first. Below those, on the corner going to the village I build fortresses. Three will fit and they are far enough up that they will fire at monsters that are coming through the gate as well as defend your village. Then I start placing bird zappers along the stairs. I build a row of fortresses below the bird zappers. These fortresses can shot on either side of the lane. Below the fortresses I build a cannon at the bottom of the lower set of stairs. Then a cannon across on the very bottom half. Next to this cannon I place a bubble gum machine on either side. Remember, the really fast runners are coming so I then add a cannon and a bird zapper right at the entrance of my village accompained by a couple more fortresses just in case they get that far. Then I start reinforcing everything. This is good level to save those anchors, swords and lightening bolts for. Slowing the monsters down really helps on this level. It's the first wave of monsters that cause the most havoc. Once your well built the second larger monsters are pretty easy to kill. Also, as your final large monster passes equiptment that will no longer be required remember to delete them. You do this to add gold to your reserves which so that your score is higher. My highest score is 785,878. I'm working towards 800,000. Hope this makes sense and helps.
