To get science points u need to make it a priority for a lot of your tribes people... or u can use lots of moondust... depending on what construction level ur on u can get 2000 pts per moondust.

Hi guys. I'm new on this forum, and I thank you for the spoilers you have posted. I still don't know how to solve the flower/tree mystery, since I don't have red flowers. Do I have to get those from a different island? I do have legendary agriculturists and legendary scientists, so red flowers don't come by that means. Any ideas welcome!

For those of you who want a list of GOOD potions, go directly to the game developer forum at www.grubbygames.com. There are not as many helpful user inputs there as I had hoped, but if you check there and here you will learn a lot.

For newbies: every time you leave your game, put MOST (not all) of your people working at the science station. You still need to have wood and food gatherers to keep everyone fed while you are away. This will rack up points quickly. I got loads of points overnight this way.

How to get the trophy for maxing out one person's abilities: spoiler → Once you have gathered lots of stars, just keep putting star after star on one of your people. Each star improves some ability, including mental and physical abilities. It won't take long for that person to have maximum mental and physical strength, and to become legendary in all abilities. You'll get a trophy, plus you can use this person to help in solving most mysteries, since they are the smartest and have all abilities. ←

The red rock mystery: spoiler → I maxed out the abilities of one person, then dropped them on the red rock. Mystery solved. This gives you the use of iron in your tools (permanently), and aids in construction. There is NO WOOD OR IRONWOOD OR ANYTHING ELSE from this mystery. ←

Where to find fountain water and other things... Each island has 3 mysteries. The fountain is one of the mysteries. If your island does not have a fountain mystery on it, you cannot obtain fountain water. You need to go to another island for that, but once you leave you can't come back! The secret is to solve all of the mysteries on the island you are on, then move to another island. You can select which island you want, each one displaying which mysteries are on it, before you select it to sail to. To be ready to sail, you have to first build a shipyard (level 3 of construction), then build an ark. You'll needs LOTS of both wood and rock, so first build extra storage units for both and fill them so you can just assign most people to construction overnight (don't forget to leave someone on agriculture/fishing/wood in order to keep everyone fed). Yes, it all takes time. That's what keeps people playing. Be patient, and please do come back here and share solutions.

It would be helpful if you state in your response to a question just what you are responding to, as the input is sometimes jumbled up depending on the timing of your reponse. Also, complete answers would be nice. Keep up the dialogue!

Tombstones? Make a pretty cemetery! If some of your people have died and you have tombstones around the island, you can move them to a central spot and make a pretty cemetery. Use the potion to make a floral display and pour it on the ground. I did this a few times and made a beautiful cemetary: rain water + stardust + guano. A nice tribute to my hardworking tribesmen.

Want super-smart and super-strong babies? If you can max out both physical and mental strength on one male and one female of your tribe (young ones!), you can then breed babies that come out with full strength and mental abilities. WOW! (to get them maxed, use the potions for increasing physical and mental strength, or just keep putting stars on them until all of their abilities & strengths get to max)

okay - i get how to make magical rain water but how do I "collect" it for the potions that require it?

Mel - you have to inhabit an island that has a fountain on it - build a shipyard and travel to a new island with the fountain - but make sure to pass all the mysteries first on the island you are on cuz you can't go back!
